Buses from Gdansk Airport with Bus Routes and Times

The transfer options for getting to or from Gdansk Airport (GDN), depending on your destination, include buses.

When you arrive at the airport on a bus you will find yourself within 50 m walking distance of the terminal entrance. When you are going from the airport most buses stop opposite the terminal exits, and some might stop on the bus parking lot 50 m away.

The public transport buses are usually low floor buses and the time for departure may be up to 1 minute accelerated or 3 minutes delayed so make sure you are on time.

The bus lines servicing the airport are 110, 210, 122 and the night line N3.

Line 110 - Gdansk Wrzeszcz Dworzec PKP – Port Lotniczy (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport)

This bus runs between the smaller train station in the commercial area of Gdansk and the airport and unless you are already in that area or are going to stay in that area a transfer to or from the train station is necessary.

There are multiple stops on the way and the ride takes between 25 and 35 minutes depending on the time of day and which direction you are going. Generally the ride to the airport has more stops than the opposite direction has.

Buses run at least once an hour either direction between 5.00 and 23.00.

Line 210 - Gdansk Dworzec Glowny PKP – Port Lotniczy (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport) – Osowa PKP

This bus will take you to or from either Osowa, a neighbourhood located approximately 20 km north-west of central Gdansk, or the main train station in central Gdansk, Gdansk Glowny. The airport stop is in between the two. The bus also stops in Sopot in between Osowa and the airport.

How long the ride takes depends on which direction you are going and where you are going from and to.

  • Between Osowa PKP and Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN, (Port Lotniczy) it takes around 25-35 minutes.
  • Between Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN, (Port Lotniczy) and Gdansk main train station, (Gdansk Glowny) it takes around 35-45 minutes.

Buses run from around 4.00 to around 22.00 depending on which way you are going.

Line 122 - Sopot Kamienny Potok SKM – Port Lotniczy (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN)

This bus runs both ways between Sopot and the airport once almost every hour from around 5.00 in the morning to around 22.00 in the evening.

The route time is around 45-65 minutes from start to finish depending on the time of day and which direction you are travelling. There are multiple stops within the Sopot area.

Line N3 – The night bus - Gdansk Dworzec Glowny PKP – Port Lotniczy (Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN) – Gdansk Wrzeszcz PKP

This bus route is between the main train station in Gdansk, Gdansk Glowny, and the smaller train station, Gdansk Wrzeszcz, in the commercial area of Gdansk with a stop at the airport in between the two.

The bus ride takes around 40 minutes between Gdansk Glowny and the airport, GDN, and around 20 minutes between Gdanks Wrzeszcz and the airport, GDN.

The bus route time table is approximately once an hour between 23.00 and 4.00 depending on where you are going from and where you are going to.

Bus Tickets

Tickets for the buses can be purchased in either ticket machines that usually are located on the train platforms, pram stations and sometimes the bus stops, through several different smartphone applications (recommended) or at specific service points. It is not possible to buy tickets directly from the bus driver.

The cost for a normal single ticket for the day buses is around 4 PLN and for the night bus around 5.00-5.50 PLN.

Tickets can be bought using either coins or credit cards.
