Train Transfers To and From Gdansk Airport

One of the transfer options available for travelers arriving at Gdansk Airport is the train. Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway (PKM) services lines between the airport and four different locations.

The Port Lotniczy train station is located directly at Terminal T2 through a connection bridge found at the far left corner of the main hall after exciting the baggage claim area of the arrivals hall.

Tickets can be purchased in one of the ticket machines located on the platforms or by the train manager on the train. It is recommended to buy it from the ticket machines. If you are planning to change trains during your journey tickets can be bought for the full trip at once.

Be sure to validate the ticket as requested.

Train Lines

• Gdansk Wrzeszcz – Port Lotniczy, Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN – every 30 minutes. Train ride takes around 25-45 minutes.(Please be aware that a transfer of train is usually needed to get to or from the main train station in Gdansk, Gdansk Glowny, from Gdansk Wrzeszcz which is a smaller train station located in the commercial area of Gdansk, although some trains may go all the way without a transfer.)
• Gdynia Glowna – Port Lotniczy, Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN – every 60 minutes. Train ride takes around 30-60 minutes.
• Kartuzy, via Zukowo – Port Lotniczy, Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN – every 60 minutes. Train ride takes around 20 minutes to Zukowo and around 45-60 minutes to Kartuzy.
• Koscierzyna, via Somonino – Port Lotniczy, Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, GDN – every 60 minutes. Train ride takes around 35 minutes to Somonino and around 1 hour and 20 minutes to Koscierzyna.

A regular single ticket is 6.50 PLN, but you are recommended to choose the “Bilet miejski” for the discounted price of 3.50 PLN. The fares are also displayed on the information boards on the platform. Please also make sure your ticket gets validated properly according to the information on the platforms.
